It is a tragedy that this great documentary is so hard to obtain. I am a student of the Civil Rights era and would love to inform other people on the movement. It can be done by books but, this series compliments the study of the American Civil Rights movement like no other. To purchase this documentary on Amazon will cost you over $1500.00. The Ken Burns Civil War documentary is a great series but, it is on war where the Eyes on the Prize documentary is on a wonderful journey of equality and peace experienced throughout the world. I agree this tool should be used during Carter G. Woodson's black histiry month but, it also should be available at any time for education sake. I would contribute money to any fundraiser that would benefit this cause.
