Great to hear that someone in library land is putting wikis on the map. There was a guest speaker at a library gathering here in Winnipeg yesterday who mentioned this wiki before I even knew it was you. :)

One problem I've had with wikis is there is usually very little instruction about how to create a new page. I've tried adding a link to the menu that says "Create new page". It doesn't actually create a page but it does give users instructions on how to do so. Perhaps most people are only interested in adding content to pages already created, but there may be some out there who wants to start a new topic.

This is such a great idea! Have you thought about posting this to NMRT or working with NMRT's Orientation committee?

Do you know of any good chicago-based library mailing lists that you could submit the URL to (http://meredith.wolfwater.com/wiki/) ? that would seem to be the best way to get people to help contribute.
