As a new blogger, it was very interesting to read your survey results! The results may help me figure out what to put in my blog, as I have yet to figure out if my tiny audience is techie or not....
Thanks for creative such an interesting site.

I wonder if instead of writing a full-blown software review when you come across some neat new stuff if instead you could link to it and then write up a little explanation of what the technology does (or is supposed to do). That way you'd still get to do some tech geek reflection, but those of us who aren't as up on tech stuff would get a little introduction to a new technology. If you wanted to, you could also write a little about how you discovered the technology, how you first used it, etc., which would make at least part of the post in your voice that we all love so much. So, for instance, if you were reviewing screencasting software, you'd start by telling us something about what screencasting is and how you can use it. And occasionally maybe you could link back to these (eg "Still not sure what a wiki is? See this post from back when").

I think it would be really valuable to learn about new technologies from a source that I know and trust.

Whatever you do, though (and that should be up to you!), keep writing!
