In the past, I'd used a WordPress plugin called X-Comments that would <a href="http://dltj.org/wp-x-comments-show-more.php" rel="nofollow">manually track comments I make elsewhere</a> but it has been a pain to use; it is no longer being updated by its author and requires constant tweaking with new versions of WordPress. I'm glad to see you joined the comment challenge, Meredith... there are a growing number of lis types on the list. The ebbs and flows are part of what make blogging make sense to me. There are times when I'm really focused on the larger professional picture, and in those times I'm really involved. There are other times when I'm focused more on mpow and/or my family, and in those times I'm much less vocal. If it was an all or nothing commitment, I wouldn't be able to do it! Twitter has been an interesting addition to me, because even when I'm swamped I can send a sms message. That one seems to just keep going and going.... I hope the challenge is a fun one for you!
