My partner and I are planning on getting married this summer. The amount of wrangling we have to do to be recognized is insane, and it would be such a non-issue if we were a straight couple.

I&#039;m ecstatic Obama was elected. It gives me hope on may levels. But I&#039;m also crushed by all the anti-same sex marriage initiatives that went through. Such a mixed bag of emotions today.</description>
