He&#8217;s got great links to other resources that will educate and inspire librarians to get excited about RSS.  The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kcpl.org\/\">Kansas City Public Library System<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mpls.lib.mn.us\/rss.asp\">Minneapolis Public Library<\/a> are good examples of public libraries that have embraced RSS, but so many are starting to use it these days.  Still, I find a lot of people in the library field who don&#8217;t know what RSS is.  The director of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seflin.org\/\">SEFLIN <\/a>(Southeast Florida Library Information Network)  came to speak to one of my classes this semester and, when asked, said he had no idea what RSS was. SEFLIN&#8217;s goal is &#8220;to pioneer innovative technology to deliver optimum library services to Southeast Florida.&#8221;  Doesn&#8217;t bode well for my part of the world, now does it?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tame the Web this week has a great little guide on Teaching RSS to Reference Librarians.
