{"id":656,"date":"2007-09-07T10:26:06","date_gmt":"2007-09-07T15:26:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/meredith.wolfwater.com\/wordpress\/index.php\/2007\/09\/07\/top-three-library-related-blogs-survey\/"},"modified":"2007-09-07T10:26:06","modified_gmt":"2007-09-07T15:26:06","slug":"top-three-library-related-blogs-survey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/meredith.wolfwater.com\/wordpress\/2007\/09\/07\/top-three-library-related-blogs-survey\/","title":{"rendered":"Top Three Library-Related Blogs Survey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As an addendum to my <a href=\"http:\/\/meredith.wolfwater.com\/wordpress\/index.php\/2007\/09\/04\/2007-survey-of-the-biblioblogosphere-index-of-results\/\">Survey of the Biblioblogosphere<\/a> and in response to the recent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloglines.com\/search?q=Bcite:http%3A%2F%2Foedb.org%2Flibrary%2Ffeatures%2Ftop-25-librarian-bloggers-by-the-numbers&#038;ql=en&#038;s=f&#038;pop=l&#038;news=m\">discussions about rating and ranking library blogs<\/a>, I&#8217;ve created a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/s.aspx?sm=F7bg_2fKyJBq5Qksw1dPfrrw_3d_3d\">survey where people can name their top three favorite library-related blogs<\/a>. People use a lot of metrics to rank blogs, but I never see anyone actually asking people what their favorite blogs are. And people will rank their favorites for many different reasons. Perhaps they&#8217;re the three that offer them information they can&#8217;t get anywhere else. Or perhaps they&#8217;re the most thought-provoking. Or perhaps they&#8217;re the most funny. Whatever the reason, we all have blogs that we most look forward to seeing new content from. Which three are yours?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/s.aspx?sm=F7bg_2fKyJBq5Qksw1dPfrrw_3d_3d\">So, if you read library-related blogs, fill out the survey<\/a>! I&#8217;m sure we&#8217;ll get some really interesting results from this and I would guess there will be a lot of surprises as well.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve paid for a professional account through Survey Monkey (which allows for unlimited survey responses) until September 29, so I&#8217;ll keep the survey open until the 28th.
