Library Journal is looking for nominations for their 2007 Movers and Shakers issue. They have an online nomination form that makes it wicked easy to nominate someone whom you think is an emerging leader in the profession.
I was really touched to have been chosen last year (still not quite sure who nominated me and seconded it, but thanks!) and I’ve already thought of three people off the top of my head who more than deserve to be honored this year. I nominated one of them and found colleagues of the other two (whom I don’t know personally) to nominate them. I think it says great things about our profession that I can come up with three names immediately of people who deserve it, without even having to think about it. 🙂 These are the people who are changing (and will continue to change) our profession for the better.Yeah!
