Library Success Wiki in SLJ!

Wow, this is some month for me! Library Journal and School Library Journal! This month, the Library Success Wiki is featuerd as SLJ’s Website of the Month. It’s a terrific, concise piece and it really promotes the wiki as something school librarians should contribute to. Maybe I’m wrong, but it seems like school librarians are greatly underrepresented in the biblioblogosphere. I don’t know if that has to do with the population or the environment they work in (i.e. whether or not administration is open to such things, etc.). I would love to see more contributions by school librarians to the wiki. I know so little about school librarianship, so I’m sure I could learn a great deal from their insights. Surely, you school librarians have plenty of great activities, handouts, techniques, and tips that would be tremendously helpful to library students or brand-spanking-new school librarians. Feel free to add new pages and categories and whatever you’d like. This is your wiki as much as it is mine!

I really want to see the wiki become a tremendous repository of knowledge that all librarians will find useful. If anyone has a website or a repository of information that would be a good fit for the Library Success Wiki and that they’d like to move into the wiki, please contact me. 🙂
