For those of you who missed my wiki talk last week and wanted to watch it later, the archived presentation is up and is available as a podcast or as a video with the slides and audio. There are a lot of terrific presentations in the SirsiDynix Institute archive by some of the great thinkers in our field (Rachel Singer Gordon, Alane Wilson, Michael Stephens, Greg Schwartz, Steven Cohen, etc.) so it’s worth checking out the entire archive and seeing if something else tickles your fancy.
Update: Christine Brown of the Waterloo Public Library posted a really impressive and comprehensive summary of my talk for those of you who aren’t big podcast/webcast fans. Nice work Christine!
That’s a great intro to wikis, Meredith. I love how high the percentage of people who want to try wikis is halfway through the presentation.
I think this will have to be the “orientation film” for the “wiki taskforce” I’m going to be setting up at my library.
Great job, Meredith. A couple of my co-workers attended and enjoyed it as well. Now they are wiki-ready! It’s a good place to start to encourage it in our system.
