This weekend I’m driving down to Sturbridge, MA for the Massachusetts School Library Association conference. I’m giving a workshop on wikis… twice. I’ve never given the same talk twice in one day, but it’ll be an interesting opportunity to immediately improve my talk based on my observations during the first iteration. My slides are already up on Slideshare and links to everything I’m going to mention are up on my presentation wiki. I really like talking to school librarians; the environment they work in is so different from mine, so it’s interesting to see how they are (or are thinking about) employing social technologies.
If you’re going to be there, please do say hi. It’ll be a quick trip for me — I have to head home right after my talks are over on Sunday — but I hope to get a chance to meet some new people and share ideas.
I’ll be eager to hear how your presentations go over 🙂 Will you post a follow-up?
I will definitely write a follow-up if I have anything interesting to say about the conference (which is likely). I’m also curious to see how my talk will go over with this population.
We’re really looking forward to having you at our conference Meredith. Please make sure you find me at registration and say “hi”!
Kathy
Meredith your presentation was so information rich! I was fascinated and impressed. I just kept telling myself, “So, this is what a great presentation looks like.” Thanks again. And please, do remember to say hello to the women working in their kitchens on new software applications.
